Too right Chriso, Lest We Forget. My wife has an uncle buried in Japan who was transported from the Railroad back to Japan. He died the day the ship arrived in Yokohama.

And what Stuffa has said is quite right as our veterans (young and old) get the run around from DVA and they just give up and end up being on the streets. This is why I don't mind Jackie Lambie who is speaking up about the way DVA does business.

This is my Ship's Company ready to march in Adelaide yesterday. I'm in the right hand file, second from the front.

Thanks for sharing mate. Those blokes copped unimaginal hell in Changi,it no wonder the ones that survived did it tough.
As ya say its great to see young ones at services, my dad was in middle east then Borneo and attended his first dawn service last year, it was 100yrs since the battle of the Somme which my grandfather was in, he worn grandads medals but wont even touch his own.
Thank you to all serving an exservice men and woman.
